Energy Efficient Televisions
From energy alternatives such as solar and wind to hydroelectric and geothermal, energy reduction plays a big part in today’s society. Television manufacturers have come up with an evergy efficient way of reducing power consumption; whereby fitting a TV with a camera that searches for the viewers full face looking at the screen. If the viewer looks away the image slowly fades but the audio remains level, when the viewer moves back his face to watch, the image immediately comes back.
Hitachi and Sony are the first manufacturers in the prototype stages for this technology.
