StreetStats, developed by Top 10 Broadband, has revealed varying speeds of broadband on the same street. It allows users to see the speed of their neighbours residing in the same postal code. This variation of speed can be due to many factors, some of which are:
- The distance of your house from the local exchange
- The way in which your house is wired
- The type of technology used to to modulate and demodulate information (Modem used)
- The type of technology used in your internet service provider’s local exhange
To make coverage comprehensive, public funding may be needed as well as framework  revisions.
