Teen Micro-blogging
A study conducted in the United States has shown that a percentage of younger teenagers from ages 12 to 17 are using more mobile forms of communication.
The survey indicated that the teens in those age groups prefer short messages over social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter (micro-blogging) rather than continuous blogging.  It also showed a raise in blogging for adults of age 30 and over. This indicates a raise from the 2007’s – 7% to a now 11% in 2009 which leaves an overall of the Internet’s population of bloggers at roughly 10%.
